Dextego vs. Granola
Replace Granola.
Get a coach, not just notes.
Granola records the call, transcribes it, and summarizes what was said, and stops there. Dextego does that too, then prepares your team before the call, coaches them live while it's happening, and turns every conversation into the next win. No need to run two tools. Dextego replaces Granola entirely.
From Meeting Notes → Conversation Coaching
Granola stops at notes.
Dextego replaces it and coaches too.
Granola
- Records the call
- Transcribes the conversation
- Summarizes after the fact
- Tells you what was said, after it's over
- No buyer-specific prep before the call
- No live guidance while the call is happening

- Records and transcribes the call: everything a notetaker does, built in
- Prepares reps with buyer-specific psychographic insight before the call
- Coaches live, in the moment, while the call is happening
- Delivers a structured scorecard, not just a transcript
What’s the difference between Dextego and Granola?
Granola is an AI notepad that turns your meeting notes into clean, shareable summaries. Dextego is an AI sales coaching platform. Choose Granola if you want the best notes with no bot in the meeting. Choose Dextego if you run a sales team and want reps coached during calls and managers able to see how every rep is improving.

Before. During. After. One continuous AI coaching loop.

Before the call: Understand & Prepare
Buyer-specific psychographic intelligence + deal-tied roleplay. Your rep understands how the buyer is likely to think, communicate, and make decisions, and practices the conversation before it happens.

During the call: Real-Time AI Coaching
An AI coach in the call with your rep. Dextego's in-call widget listens to the conversation and delivers contextual guidance in the moment, from the next best question to objection handling, positioning, and buyer signals.

After the call: Analyse & Improve
Turn every conversation into the next coaching opportunity. Get a structured scorecard, skill-gap analysis, buyer insights, and actionable feedback. Then use those insights to improve the next call.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, if your team wants coaching as well as notes. Dextego records, transcribes and summarizes calls, then adds a buyer personality profile before the call, live coaching during it, an Influence Score after it, and a manager view across the team. If you only need meeting notes, Granola is simpler and cheaper.
Four things. It profiles each buyer before the call using DISC and OCEAN and shows how well the rep's style fits theirs. It coaches the rep live with tips on screen while the buyer is talking. It scores every call with an Influence Score out of 10. And it gives managers one view of every rep's calls, scores and coaching moments.
No. During a meeting you can ask Granola's chat questions about the live transcript, but it only answers when asked. It doesn't send objection prompts, methodology checks or coaching tips on its own. Dextego's live coach, Tego, does that as the conversation happens.
Granola sends a short brief before external meetings, built from your past notes and web research when there is enough to go on. Dextego goes further for sales: it reads each buyer's public profile, tells the rep how that buyer likes to communicate and decide, and gives a Compatibility Score with do and don't advice.
A score out of 10 on every call, averaged from four levers: Probing questions, Objection handling, Empathy and Gravitas. Each lever quotes the moments in the transcript that earned it, and the rep gets up to three things they did well and three to improve. Granola doesn't score calls or reps.
Granola lets teams share notes in Team Spaces and chat across meetings, but it has no rep scorecards or coaching views. In Dextego, managers see every recorded call on the team, including calls they didn't join, with the Influence Score, talk ratio and which coaching moments each rep acted on.
Yes. Dextego joins Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex calls from the rep's calendar so it can hear both sides and coach in real time. Granola captures audio from your device instead and sends no bot. If a bot in the meeting is a dealbreaker, Granola is the better fit.
Granola has a free plan, Business at $14 per user per month and Enterprise at $35 per user per month. Dextego has a free plan, Pro at $139 per month, and a Team plan at $1,049 per month for up to 10 users with live coaching included. Enterprise pricing is custom.
